Simply put, if you have a question, I have an answer.
R410A is getting phased out! What to consider?
Remember having to replace your old R22 system with a whole new system even though you just needed a Air handler or Condenser? That was because the EPA banned R22 production. Well, it is happening again, and R410A is out. All new equipment as of May 2024 is being produced with either R32, and R454B. These refrigerants are classified as lightly flammable, so there needs to be precautions taken when working with these. As a homeowner, there are two considerations to consider. 1) The R454B refrigerant runs lower pressures than R32 by roughly 10%, so that is a little less stressful on the compressor. But the con is that the R454B refrigerant runs 2x more expansive than R32, and that means refrigerant repairs will cost much more during the life of your system. So keep that in mind when choosing your equipment manufacturer. I know that Goodman / Daikin will be using R32, and Carrier / Trane will be using R454B.
Why choose me?
1) Professional service – State Certified Contractor.
2) Build a trustworthy connection – I do all the work, not an employee.
3) You will save roughly half on any parts you need, compared to the well know advertised companies.
Example: I ran a call for Ken in February 2024. I did a 1 system maint and added 6 lbs of R410A, leak checked his system and determined the leak was small and will need a pressure test to nail down where it is. I asked him when the last time he had freon added and he said last year. He showed me the actual invoice from a well known advertised company, and I was shocked. I calculated what his bill would have been had he called that company this time around, and I saved him $500.
~ My Story ~
One of my earliest memories, I remember was lying down exhausted from heat in mid summer with no AC. I remember being too tired and hot to do anything but lie on the hallway floor. I looked up at the light and just stared, waiting until I was tired enough to fall asleep. The old rectangular White Rogers thermostat temp needle was pegged out past 90 degree limit. I don’t know how hot it really was but something I’ll never forget. After a year of no AC, somebody with a giving heart called Webster AC and paid them to install a new AC for my parents home. I was very excited and sat perched up on the chain link fence just watching them replace the condenser outside. This is the story I tell people, why I decided to get into the Air Conditioning trade. I have been blessed to learn from some really good people, and even worked for Webster AC when I was old enough to get a job. I have been with a few companies, mainly Webster for 5 yrs, Protech for 6 yrs and Energy Air for 10 yrs. I worked to get my State of Florida contractors license back in 2011. With big life changes happening, I needed to take that leap of faith into self-employment. I know I can better serve you in my community and provide a better life for my family by doing so.
My family life has been difficult, but know that God has something special in mind for me as I daily put Him first in my life. Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
During my career as an employee, I have tried to be as fair as possible, even under the pressure of employers to bring in more money. Proverbs 11:1 says, “A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight.” I am grateful to be in a position as owner to ensure that you will be treated fairly and not taken advantage of.
I believe what sets me apart from most others, is that I have your best interest at heart. I would rather lose money honorably than make money dishonestly. Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as unto the Lord and not for men.” This includes me too.
“A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.” Proverbs 22:1
